Dump Cake

This is one of my absolute favorite desserts. It is called "dump cake", because you literally just dump the ingredients one on top of the other...no mixing involved here! I used to request this as my birthday cake each year. I like to eat it warm, cold, topped with whipped cream, ice cream or completely plain. It is great however you serve it! And super easy! I love easy! :)

Ingredients:
1 16oz can apple pie filling
1 8-12oz can crushed pineapple (I like to use 12 oz)
1 box dry yellow cake mix
1/2 cup dried sweetened coconut
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup (2 sticks)butter (I have made this with only 1/2 cup (1 stick) and it works great)

Directions:
preheat oven to 325
literally dump the can of pie filling into the bottom of a 13x9 " pan, spread evenly
dump crushed pineapple (juice and all) right on top, spread evenly
don't be scared...
now dump the DRY cake mix on top, spread evenly
keep on dumping...
this time put the coconut on top
now the nuts
finally melt the butter, drizzle on top, pop it in the oven for 1 hour or evenly browned.
cool then ENJOY your first DUMP CAKE!
