Bisquick Breakfast Quiche

This is good for when you want to make a quiche, but you have no crust handy or don't have time for making pastry from scratch.


1-2 c filling of choice (I used 1/3 a tube of maple sausage and sauteed mushrooms and onions in butter and a bit of cooking could make this will all veggies, get creative!)
1 c shredded cheese (I used cheddar, but use YOUR favorite)
2 c milk (sounds like a LOT of milk, but that 2 is not a typo)
1 c Bisquick (no substitutions)
4 eggs
1/4 t salt (I left out both salt and pepper)
1/8 t pepper

1. Heat oven to 400
2. Grease 10" pie plate or 8" square
3. Sprinkle fillings & cheese on plate
4. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth
5. Pour into plate
6. Bake 35-40 min til knife comes out clean from the center. Let stand 5 min before serving
